His most noteable role was on the 1975 hit TV Series Barney Miller as Det. Ron Harris. He has also appeared on the show Firefly and in the movie Serenity, in the movie Houseguest with Sinbad, in a TV movie called Crash with William Shatner, on Friends a couple of times, The Streets of San Francisco and Good Times among many others.

   -Voyager gets an overhaul while Harry Kim, 7 of  9 and Neelix are on the Delta Flyer searching for dilithium, when they are caught in the crossfire between two alien ships. Loken is the doctor in charge of the research team aboard one of the ships. He asks Kim to fly the ship to deliver vaccines to their homeworld, but the truth is that cloaking devices are the only thing that Loken wants to deliver to his people.
